Privacy
Northline Post is run from Denmark and is subject to the GDPR. This page describes exactly what is collected, why, and what you can do about it.
The short version
There are no advertising cookies, no tracking cookies and no third-party tracking scripts on this site. Analytics are cookieless and aggregate. No personal data is collected at all: there is nothing to sign up for, no account and no newsletter.
Analytics
Page views are counted with a cookieless analytics tool. It records the page visited, the referring site, the country, and a coarse device type. It does not set cookies, does not build a profile, and does not follow you between sites. No data is collected that can identify you individually, which is why no consent banner is shown.
Local storage
If you choose a light or dark theme, that choice is stored in your browser's local storage so the site remembers it. It never leaves your device and is not readable by anyone else.
Hosting
The site is hosted on Vercel, which processes standard server request data (including IP address) to serve pages and protect against abuse. Vercel acts as a data processor.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you can request access to the personal data held about you, ask for it to be corrected or deleted, object to its processing, or request a copy of it. Email the address below and it will be handled.
You can also complain to the Danish Data Protection Agency (Datatilsynet) if you believe your data has been mishandled.
Changes
A newsletter and advertising are both planned. This page will be updated before either collects a single address or serves a single ad, and a consent mechanism will be in place for ads at that point. Material changes will be noted here with a date.
